Aalto Museum
Tangent and Curve
The proposal for the Aalto Foundation linking structure inscribed a curve into the vacant centre, springing from the tangents of the two buildings. The increased length of the curve provides adequate distances for a gentle ramp to bridge the level difference between the two buildings, accompanying a stepping space that could function as theatre or a unique retail environment.
